Winter Appeal 2024
Now three years before his death it befell that he was minded, at the town of Greccio, to
celebrate the memory of the Birth of the Child Jesus, with all the added solemnity that he
might, for the kindling of devotion. That this might not seem an innovation, he sought and
obtained license from the Supreme Pontiff, and then made ready a manger, and bade
hay, together with an ox and an ass, be brought unto the spot.

Peace and All Good!
In past issues of our Benefactor’s Appeal we have been sharing the progress of our brothers in
Initial Capuchin formation including their Priestly formation and ordination. Our Bro Martin Ngo,
continues in his studies now as a transitional Deacon. We joyfully anticipate Bro Martin’s
ordination to the priesthood in the coming year (2025).

What if the purpose of the Incarnation and Resurrection was not so we could go somewhere else, but rather so we, with God, could create a new Earth? Have you ever imagined what a new Earth a new Heaven would be like? The first thing that comes to mind is that Heaven and Earth are not separate places [1] , earth may not be a place where we start out with hopes of getting to Heaven.
